The Prophecy of the Popes

Revelation 17 speaks of a mystery. A mystery which is being revealed in these last days. It is a prophecy and it says:

Revelation 17
The Meaning of the Woman and the Beast

7 But the angel said to me, “Why did you marvel? I will tell you the mystery of the woman and of the beast that carries her, which has the seven heads and the ten horns.
8 The beast that you saw was, and is not, and will ascend out of the bottomless pit and go to perdition. And those who dwell on the earth will marvel, whose names are not written in the Book of Life from the foundation of the world, when they see the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.

9 “Here is the mind which has wisdom: The seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman sits.
10 There are also seven kings. Five have fallen, one is, and the other has not yet come. And when he comes, he must continue a short time.
11 The beast that was, and is not, is himself also the eighth, and is of the seven, and is going to perdition.

12 “The ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have received no kingdom as yet, but they receive authority for one hour as kings with the beast
13 These are of one mind, and they will give their power and authority to the beast.
14 These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, for He is Lord of lords and King of kings; and those who are with Him are called, chosen, and faithful.”

Let’s break it down:

“Here is the mind which has wisdom: The seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman sits.

The seven hills of Rome are:
Aventine Hill (Latin, Aventinus; Italian, Aventino)
Caelian Hill (Caelius, Celio)
Capitoline Hill (Capitolium, Campidoglio)
Esquiline Hill (Esquilinus, Esquilino)
Palatine Hill (Palatinus, Palatino)
Quirinal Hill (Quirinalis, Quirinale)
Viminal Hill (Viminalis, Viminale)

The woman in the Bible is the visual representation of a church, in this case, the Roman Catholic Church.

There are also seven kings. Five have fallen, one is, and the other has not yet come. And when he comes, he must continue a short time. The beast that was, and is not, is himself also the eighth, and is of the seven, and is going to perdition.

The seven kings are seven Popes: (Kings of Rome)WWII
1. Pius XII (12th) 1939 – 1958 (Dead)
2. John XXIII (23rd) 1958-1963 (Dead)
From Vatican II -> Present
3. Paul VI (6th) 1963-1978 (Dead)
4. John Paul I 1978 (Dead)
5. John Paul II 1978 – 2005 (Dead)
6. Benedict XVI (16th) 2005 – 2013 (One is)
7. Francis I 2013-201? (One rule for a short time)

So who is the eighth. The scripture tells us:

The beast that was (the pope), and is not (the pope) , is himself also the eighth (Pope), and is of the seven (Popes), and is going to perdition.

8. Benedict XVI (16th)

“The ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have received no kingdom as yet, but they receive authority for one hour as kings with the beast. These are of one mind, and they will give their power and authority to the beast.  These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, for He is Lord of lords and King of kings; and those who are with Him are called, chosen, and faithful.”

  1. My Brother, shallom… I indeed love your articles you are very blessed….
I’d like to know how you came to this conclusion that the counting of the eight kings should start at wwll, and not at 1929 with the lateran treaty….

    1. The problem has been that there have not been any who have been (pope) and are no longer (the pope) but could come back to fulfill this role except for Benedict XVI (16th) 2005 – 2013. (He is the only one who still is).
