The difference between Yahshua and Man

Something I have been considering, when reading the views of others, is about where Yahshua came from. I am aware that some people say that He was just another human. I have heard some say that He was the seed of Joseph.

My view here differs from both of these. Let me explain why. Scripture says in Matthew 1:18-24 the following:

¹⁸ Now the birth of Yahushua ha Maschiach was as follows:
After His mother Mary was betrothed to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Ruach ha Kodesh (Holy Spirit).
¹⁹ Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not wanting to make her a public example, was minded to put her away secretly. 
²⁰ But while he thought about these things, behold, an angel of Yahuwah appeared to him in a dream, saying,

“Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take to you Mary your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Ruach ha Kodesh (Holy Spirit). ²¹ And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Yahshua, for He will save His people from their sins.”

²² So all this was done that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Yahuwah through the prophet, saying: ²³ “Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “With us is Elohim.”

²⁴ Then Joseph, being aroused from sleep, did as the angel of Yahuwah commanded him and took to him his wife, ²⁵ and did not know her till she had brought forth her firstborn Son. And he called His name Yahshua.

So for starters, Yahushua was not born from the seed of Joseph. He was born from the see of Yah, for scripture tells us that the the child was from the holy spirit.

Now this raises an interesting point. If the seed was not from the earth, but from Heaven, where should we expect that seed to return to? Scripture tells us that the seed of man returns to the dust from which it came.

Ecclesiastes 12:7
7 Then the dust will return to the earth as it was,
And the spirit will return to Elohim who gave it. 

And again in Ecclesiastes 3:20

Ecclesiastes 3:20
20 All go to one place: all are from the dust, and all return to dust. 

So our bodies came from the earth. They shall return to the earth. But Yahshua’s body did not come from the earth. It came from the heavens, and we can be certain of this because we are told this exact thing in John 6:48-51.

John 6:48-51
48 I am the bread of life. 49 Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and are dead. 
50 This is the bread which comes down from heaven, that one may eat of it and not die. 
51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread that I shall give is My flesh, which I shall give for the life of the world.”

So we need to ask, when Yahshua died, did He start to return to the earth? Well there are two things that provide us the answer here. Above we are told that Yahshua’s body is the bread of life. In the wilderness, the children of IsraEl ate Manna, which was a bread. It was spread over the desert floor, where man did not wish to go.

When we look in Exodus 16, we find that their was one day that the manna did not decay over. It was upon the sixth day, that they would collect twice as much manna, and the manna would not decay.

Exodus 16:22-26
²² And so it was, on the sixth day, that they gathered twice as much bread, two omers for each one. And all the rulers of the congregation came and told Moses. 

²³ Then he said to them, “This is what Yahuwah has said: ‘Tomorrow is a Sabbath rest, a holy Sabbath to Yahuwah. Bake what you will bake today, and boil what you will boil; and lay up for yourselves all that remains, to be kept until morning.’ ”

²⁴ So they laid it up till morning, as Moses commanded; and it did not stink, nor were there any worms in it. 

²⁵ Then Moses said, “Eat that today, for today is a Sabbath to Yahuwah; today you will not find it in the field.

²⁶ Six days you shall gather it, but on the seventh day, the Sabbath, there will be none.”

So the bread, which came down from heaven, did not decay upon the Sabbath. Scripture tells us then that it was the first day of the week that He rose.

Matthew 28:1
Now after the Sabbath, as the first day of the week began to dawn, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to see the tomb.

But interestingly, the flesh of man does decay. We see this in John 11:38-39

John 11:38-39
³⁸ Then Yahshua, again groaning in Himself, came to the tomb. It was a cave, and a stone lay against it. ³⁹ Yahshua said, “Take away the stone.”

Martha, the sister of him who was dead, said to Him, “Lord, by this time there is a stench, for he has been dead four days.”

In Psalm 16:10 we learn that Yahushua’s body did not decay. This was repeated in Acts 2:27

Acts 2:27
‘For You will not forsake me and abandon my soul to Hades (the realm of the dead), Nor let Your Holy One undergo decay [after death].

And again in Acts 13:36-37

Acts 13:36-37
“For David, after he had served ^[khis own generation by the will of God, fell asleep, was buried with his fathers, and saw corruption; ³⁷ but He whom God raised up saw no corruption

So we cannot say that Yahshua was from earth, if the seed came from heaven and returned to heaven.

.Acts 1:9-11
⁹ Now when He had spoken these things, while they watched, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight. 
¹⁰ And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel, 
¹¹ who also said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? Yahushua, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven.”

Yahshua was the sinless lamb, crucified to pay for the sins of you and I.

This raises another point, for some say that Yahuwah does not believe in Human Sacrifice, so therefore Yahushua cannot be the Messiah. This I would agree with.

However, if a human is a person whose flesh is from the earth, Yahshua’s flesh was not from the earth. His flesh was from heaven and is the Bread of Life. Therefore, the sacrifice made was not from the earth, but was perfected from the heavens.

Hebrews 9:8-14
⁸ Previously saying, “Sacrifice and offering, burnt offerings, and offerings for sin You did not desire, nor had pleasure in them” (which are offered according to the law), 
⁹ then He said, “Behold, I have come to do Your will, O Elohim.” He takes away the first that He may establish the second.
¹⁰ By that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Yahushua haMaschiach once for all.

¹¹ And every priest stands ministering daily and offering repeatedly the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins. 
¹² But this Man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of Elohim,
¹³ from that time waiting till His enemies are made His footstool. 
¹⁴ For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being ^[dsanctified.

If Yahshua did not come from the Father – who is in Heaven – then we would not have the option of being redeemed.
