354 vs 360 vs 365 day calendar musings – Part 4

If you have not yet read the previous three posting on this subject, it would be beneficial for you to take a look so you understand the point of view this article is written from.

The first article can be found here. The second article can be found here. The third article can be found here.

This article is looking at what might be the cause of the change in the calendar length from a 365 day calendar to a 360 day calendar and also how do the appointed times line up with the 1260 days, 1290 days and 1335 days we read about in Daniel

Both Revelation and Daniel tell us that the time that the two witnesses prophesy is 1260 days or three and a half years.

Revelation 11:3

3 And I will grant authority to My two witnesses, and they will prophesy for twelve hundred and sixty days (forty-two months; three and one-half years), dressed in sackcloth.”

For this to occur the calendar must be restored back to the way it was. But how does this happen. Well we don’t know exactly, but we do see some things in the scriptures taking place which provide some clues.

Firstly we see the trumpets and then we see the alter of the atonement. We see the golden censor. We see the incense, we see the prayers and we see this before Yahuwah. We see fire and we see the censer being thrown to the earth.

Revelation 8

1 When He (the Lamb) broke open the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour.
2 Then I saw the seven angels who stand before Yahuwah, and seven trumpets were given to them.
3 Another angel came and stood at the altar. He had a golden censer, and much incense was given to him, so that he might add it to the prayers of all the saints (Yahuwah’s people) on the golden altar in front of the throne.
4 And the smoke and fragrant aroma of the incense, with the prayers of the saints (Yahuwah’s people), ascended before Yahuwah from the angel’s hand.
5 So the angel took the censer and filled it with fire from the altar, and hurled it to the earth; and there were peals of thunder and loud rumblings and sounds and flashes of lightning and an earthquake.

We read in Revelation 12 a sign which is to be seen at the start of this event.

Revelation 12
1 And a great sign [warning of an ominous and frightening future event] appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon beneath her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars.
2 She was with child (the Messiah) and she cried out, being in labor and in pain to give birth.
3 Then another sign [of warning] was seen in heaven: behold, a great fiery red dragon (Satan) with seven heads and ten horns, and on his heads were seven royal crowns (diadems).
4 And his tail swept [across the sky] and dragged away a third of the stars of heaven and flung them to the earth. And the dragon stood in front of the woman who was about to give birth, so that when she gave birth he might devour her child.

A sign just like this is seen in the skies upon the 23rd of September 2017. This is just after the appointed time of Trumpets.

In scripture we are told a year is 12 months. We are told a year is 360 days. In scripture we see this 360 day period being referred to as “time”.  Time is equal to a year or 360 days.

When we see “times” being spoken of it is referring to 2 x 360 days or 720 days. Half a time is equal to 1/2 x 360 days or 180 days.

Together these add up to 360 + 720 + 180= 1260 days. This is 3 and a half years or 42 months.

Revelation 22:1-2

1 Then the angel showed me a river of the water of life, clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of Yahuwah and of the Lamb (Yahushua),
2 in the middle of its street. On either side of the river was the tree of life, bearing twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit every month; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

Here are some scriptures which mention this time period:

Daniel 7:25
25 He will speak words against the Most High and wear down the saints of the Most High, and he will intend to change the times and the law; and they will be given into his hand for a time, [two] times, and half a time [three and one-half years].

Daniel 12:7
7 And I heard the man clothed in white linen who was above  the waters of the river,  as he raised up his right hand and his left hand to the visible heavens and swear by him that liveth forever that it shall be appointed for a time,  times, and a half. Completion shall shatter the hand of the set apart peoples to accomplish and end.

Revelation 11
1 Then there was given to me a measuring rod like a staff; and someone said, “Rise and measure the temple of Yahuwah and the altar [of incense], and [count] those who worship in it.
2 But leave out the court  which is outside the temple and do not measure it, because it has been given to the the nations; and they will trample the holy city for forty-two months.

Revelation 11
3 And I will grant authority to My two witnesses, and they will prophesy for twelve hundred and sixty days (forty-two months; three and one-half years), dressed in sackcloth.

Revelation 13
5 And the beast was given a mouth (the power of speech), uttering great things and arrogant and blasphemous words, and he was given freedom and authority to act and to do as he pleased for forty-two months (three and a half years).

If the appointed time stars at the appointed time of trumpets on the first day of the seventh month, then three and a half years later (1260 days) brings us to the first day of the 1st month of the year.

Another 30 days later would bring us to the end of Passover and the end of the first month. This brings us the end end of 1290 days. The calendar of the beast which was ruling over the people shall be no more.

Daniel 12:11
11 And the time that the continual (calendar of weeks) shall come to and end, that detestable thing which stuns, stupefies and makes desolate which is delivered up, there shall be one thousand two hundred and ninety days.

For those that missed Passover, there is time put aside in the second month.

Numbers 9:9-14
9 Then Yahuwah spoke to Moses, saying,
10 “Say to the Israelites, ‘If any one of you or of your descendants becomes [ceremonially] unclean because of [touching] a dead body or is on a distant journey, he may, however, observe the Passover to Yahuwah
11 On the fourteenth day of the second month [thirty days later] at twilight, they shall observe it; they shall eat it with unleavened bread and bitter herbs.
12 They shall leave none of it until morning nor break any of its bones; in accordance with all the statutes of the Passover they shall observe it.
13 But the man who is [ceremonially] clean and is not on a journey, and yet does not observe the Passover, that person shall be cut off from among his people [excluding him from the atonement made for them] because he did not bring Yahuwah’s offering at its appointed time; that man will bear [the penalty of] his sin.
14 If a stranger lives among you as a resident alien and observes the Passover to Yahuwah, in accordance with its statutes and its ordinances, so shall he do; you shall have one statute, both for the resident alien and for the native of the land.’”

So wha is the 1335 date? What is significant about it?  Daniel says:

Daniel 12:12
12  Blessed are they who wait to reach the one thousandth three hundredth and five and thirty day .

Pentecost is a name many are familiar with. But in the scriptures it is known by another name. The appointed time of harvest. In Exodus 23 it says:

Exodus 23:16a
16 Also [you shall observe] the appointed time of Harvest (Weeks, Pentecost, or First Fruits), acknowledging the first fruits of your labor, of what you sow in the field.

We read about the appointed time of harvest in Leviticus 23 as well.

Leviticus 23:15-16,21-22
15 ‘You shall count from the day after the Sabbath, from the day when you brought in the sheaf (tied bundle of grain) of the wave offering; there shall be seven complete Sabbaths . 16 You shall count fifty days to the day after the seventh Sabbath; then you shall present a new grain offering to Yahuwah.

……

21 On this same day you shall make a proclamation, you are to have a holy convocation (calling together); you shall not do any laborious work [on that day]. It is to be a permanent statute throughout your generations wherever you may be.
22 ‘When you reap the harvest of your land, you shall not reap to the edges of your field, nor gather the gleaning of your harvest; you are to leave them for the poor and for the stranger. I am Yahuwah thy Elohim.’”

Now the issue which many people have is that they cannot align this 1335 days with the appointed time of harvest and I shall show you why. The calendar of scripture is not like the gregorian calendar. It went from one new moon to another new moon. The gregorian calendar we have today uses the international date line in place of this. A man made date line.

At the end of the month would be the last Sabbath. It was at this time that they would wait form the sighting of the new moon. These days were not work days. They were days of rest where people could go to the temple.

We see this in Amos 8. This chapter has a prophecy at the beginning of it where it tells us what the end shall be for those who do not acknowledge His appointed times, but rather trade upon the times He appointed as rest.

Amos 8:1-7
1 Thus Yahuwah Elohim showed me [a vision], and behold, there was a basket of summer fruit.
2 And He said, “Amos, what do you see?” And I said, “A basket of summer fruit.” Then Yahuwah said to me,
“The end has come for My people YisraEl.  I will spare them no longer.

3 In that day, the songs of the palace shall turn to wailing,” says Yahuwah Elohim. “There will be many dead bodies; in silence they will throw them everywhere.”

4 Hear this, you who trample down the needy, and do away with the poor of the land, 5 saying,

“When will the New Moon [appointed time] be over
So that we may sell grain,
And the Sabbath ended so that we may open the wheat market,
Making the ephah [measure] smaller and the shekel bigger [that is, selling less for a higher price]
And to cheat by falsifying the scales,
6 So that we may buy the poor [as slaves] for silver [since they are unable to support themselves]
And the needy for a pair of sandals,
And that we may sell the leftovers of the wheat?”

We also see this in Ezekiel 46

Ezekiel 46:1-3
1 Thus says Yahuwah Elohim, “The gate of the inner courtyard that faces east shall be shut during the six working days, but it shall be opened on the Sabbath day and opened on the day of the New Moon.
2 The prince shall enter by the porch (portico) of the gate from outside and stand by the post of the gate. The priests shall prepare and provide his burnt offering and his peace offerings, and he shall worship at the threshold of the gate and then go out; but the gate shall not be shut until evening.
3 The people of the land shall also worship at the entrance of that gate before Yahuwah on the Sabbaths and on the New Moons.

The days of the new Moon were not included in the count to the appointed time of harvest. One of the simplest methods to show this is to look at the following. This is the count to the appointed time of Harvest using the calendar of scripture but not including New Moon days. It count 7 Sabbaths complete. The 50th day is the day after the Sabbath. This method starts upon the Sabbath of the 29th. Others start it upon the Sabbath of the 22nd. And some others start it upon the Sabbath of the 15th. There is a lot of debate on this topic.

Below are the three views which we come across frequently. There are also some who add another 50 days on top of these. From my readings of scripture and with this study, I am swaying more towards the first row only because it aligns the events with the 1335 days and the events in Jubilees (see below).

So what day is the 1335th day? That equals 30 + 30 + 15. It brings us to the  third Sabbath upon the 15th day of the month. Using the first row of images, the next day is an appointed time – the appointed time of harvest.

Jubilees 14:1,9-11,19-20

1.After these things, in the fourth year of this week, on the NEW MOON OF THE THIRD month, the word of Yahuah came to Abram in a dream, saying: ‘Fear not, Abram; I am thy defender, and thy reward will be exceeding great.’
….

9 And He said unto him: ‘Take Me an heifer of three years, and a goat of three years, and a sheep of three years, and a turtle-dove, and a pigeon.’ …
10 And he took all these in the MIDDLE OF THE MONTH and he dwelt at the oak of Mamre, which is near Hebron.
11 And he built there an altar, and sacrificed all these; and he poured their blood upon the altar, and divided them in the midst, and laid them over against each other; but the birds divided he not.

…..

19 And the day passed, and Abram offered the pieces, and the birds, and their fruit offerings, and their drink offerings, and the fire devoured them.
20.And on that day WE made a covenant with Abram, according as WE HAD COVENANTED WITH NOAH IN THIS MONTH; and Abram renewed the festival and ordinance for himself for ever.

Jubilees 15:1

1 And in the fifth year of the fourth week of this jubilee, [1979 A.M.] in THE THIRD MONTH, IN THE MIDDLE OF THE MONTH, Abram celebrated the feast of the first-fruits of the grain harvest.

Jubilees 16:13
13 And she (Sarah) bare a son in the third month, and in the middle of the month, at the time of which Yahuwah had spoken to Abraham, on the festival of the first fruits of the harvest, Isaac was born.

Yes. A time is coming and is already here when the appointed times of Yahuwah shall be restored and there shall only ever be 12 months in His year.

Luke 3

“The voice of one shouting in the wilderness,
‘Prepare the way of Yahuwah
Make His paths straight.
‘Every ravine shall be filled up,
And every mountain and hill shall be levelled;
And the crooked [places] shall be made straight,
And the rough roads smooth;
and all mankind shall see the salvation of Yahuwah.’”
