Today there are those who love the Father very much and have taken the word He gives us and have twisted it around such that what we see as Light is now in darkness, and what was in darkness is now in Light.
I am referring specifically to those who have taken the appointed times the Father gives us in His scriptures – which He tells us is His Light, and they have moved the things we see in His word into the darkness. They have then taken what we do not see in His word, and have placed Light upon it.
When we read in John 9:4-5 the following:
John 9:4-5
” I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work. As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”
That verse comes from something Yahshua said on the last Sabbath of the month. The one where the Light was fading. Yahshua , our salvation, is that Light. He also tells us that His word Is His Light.
Psalms 119:105
Your word is a lamp to my feet
And a light to my path.
It seems to me at least, that there are very few who see one of the meanings behind this. We are told that the word of Yahuwah is a Light. It is there to guide us in how we should walk. Yahshua told us that if we follow Him, we shall not walk in darkness, but that we would have the Light of Life.
John 8:12
12 Yahshua spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”
Consider for a moment a child’s toy. A toy train for example. It comes with directions on how to use it. One thing I found out when I was younger, was if I put the batteries in the wrong way around, the toy would still move, but it would do so in the wrong direction. If train drivers did that for real, they would not be able to see where they are going. They would be blind.
It is the same with His word. If we take the Light He gave us, and flip it around such that the times where there is Light in His word, we say there is none, and the times where there is none, we say it is full of Light, then we are lying to ourselves and not walking as He walked.
It would be saying that there is no Light upon the crucifiction of Yahshua, even though we can see it clearly in His word. It would be saying that this Light shines its brightest solely upon the fourth Sabbath every month, even though there is not a single occasion in His word where this is the case. None.
It is that simple.
You see Elohim provides us with light which shines upon specific events in scripture for us to see.
- He places light upon the day of the new moon. We see it in His word.
- He places Light upon the first Sabbath. We see it in His word.
- He places Light upon the second Sabbath.
Out of all the Sabbath days, we see the second Sabbath spoken of the most. It is the single time in Scripture which has the most Light upon and it is also the single event where there is the most light from the moon.
Here are just some of the times we see this Sabbath spoken of:
Exodus 12:6-12 -> Light
Exodus 23:15 -> Light
Leviticus 23:4 – 14 -> Light
Joshua 5:10 -> Light
Numbers 9:1-14 -> Light
Deuteronomy 16:1-8 – > Light
2 Kings 23:21-23 -> Light
2 Chronicles 30:1-5 -> Light
Ezra 6:19-21 -> Light
Ezekiel 45:21-24 -> Light
Matthew 26 – 28-> Light
Mark 14 – 16 -> Light
Luke 2:41-42 -> Light
Luke 22 – 24 -> Light
John 2:13-23 -> Light
John 6:4 -> Light
John 11- 13, 18 – 19 -> Light
1 Corinthians 5:7 -> Light
Acts 12:4 -> Light
4. He also places Light upon the third Sabbath. We see this in His word.
5. There is no Light in His word upon the fourth Sabbath. None.
The number of times we see Passover spoken of as a time in scripture – just based on a quick search listed above (there are more) is 19.
The number of times the fourth Sabbath is seen is 0.
He says that His word is His Light. Then if we were to use an analogy of a light dimming switch upon which we see a dial which goes from 0 to 20 where 20 is the brightest – full of Light – and 0 is the darkest, then upon the second Sabbath, it is full of Light. It is at 19 on the scale. We see it all over the place in scripture.
On the other hand, the fourth Sabbath has no light at all. It is at 0 on the dial. It is not mentioned once. That does not mean the fourth Sabbath does not exist however.
For a moment, consider why that is? We know that the Sabbath day is separated by six working days. Thus we know if we see A Sabbath upon the 8th, the 15th, and the 22nd, that there must also be one upon the 29th. But there is no Light shone upon this Sabbath in His word. Why would He do this?
Yahuwah is showing us His appointed times. The Light of the moon matches this cycle exactly. Just before the new Moon is sighted, the moon has no Light. It is in darkness.
For me the amazing thing is that once I saw this Sabbath was in darkness upon the earth, I suddenly saw His entire calendar. Once I saw His entire calendar, I saw that I was no longer in darkness, for out of the darkness comes a Great Light.
Interestingly, the Light upon the moon at this very moment is hidden to the people, but for those observing this appointed time are with the Father. The Father, in the heavens see the moon full of Light. It is only when we view it from our perspective we do not.
Yahuwah tells us the following which matches exactly what has just been said:
Isaiah 9:2
The people who walk in darkness Will see a great Light;
Those who live in a dark land, The light will shine on them.
And again in Matthew 4
Matthew 4:16
16 The people who sat in darkness have seen a great light,
And upon those who sat in the region and shadow of death
Light has dawned.”
There will be those out there, who believe differently and shall even say that what is presented here is a conspiracy. Something to fool the people of Yahuwah. But what does Yahuwah say about this?
Isaiah 8:11-21
11 Yahuwah spoke thus to me with a strong hand, and instructed me that I should not walk in the way of this people, saying:12 “Do not say, ‘A conspiracy,’
Concerning all that this people call a conspiracy.
Nor be afraid of their threats, nor be troubled.
13 Yahuwah of the Sun, moon and stars (hosts),
Let Him be your fear,
And let Him be your dread.
14 He will be as a sanctuary,
But a stone of stumbling and a rock of offense
To both the houses of Israel,
As a trap and a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
15 And many among them shall stumble;
They shall fall and be broken,
Be snared and taken.”16 Bind up the testimony!
Seal the law among my disciples!
17 Wait for Yahuwah,
Who hides His face from the house of Jacob (Israel);
Look for Him.
18 Here am I and the children whom Yahuwah has given me!
We are for signs and wonders in Israel
Yahuwah of the Sun, moon and stars (Hosts),
Who dwells in Mount Zion.19 And when they say to you,
“Seek those who are mediums and wizards, who whisper and mutter,” should not a people seek their Elohim? Should they seek the dead on behalf of the living?
20 To the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.
So one needs to ask. If there is Light seen on the Sabbath on the 15th in is word, but those around us say that there is none then are they speaking according to the Light In His word, or are they speaking according to man?
THere is another Light we find in scripture which at first may appear confusing. We find that both Satan and Yahshua are called the morning star. Satan is called this in Isaiah 14 and Yahshua is called this in Revelation 2 and 21.
Isaiah 14:12
How have you fallen from heaven, O light-bringer and daystar, son of the morning! How you have been cut down to the ground, you who weakened and laid low the nations.
Revelation 2:26-29
26 And he who overcomes, and keeps My works until the end, to him I will give power over the nations—
27 ‘He shall rule them with a rod of iron;
They shall be dashed to pieces like the potter’s vessels’
as I also have received from My Father;
28 and I will give him the morning star.
29 “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the appointed ones”’Revelation 22:16
16 “I, Yahshua, have sent My angel to testify to you these things to the appointed people.
I AM the Root and the Offspring of David, the Bright and Morning Star.”
How is it that Satan is called the light bringer and son of the morning and Yahshua is called the same thing?
The answer is simple if you look. Yahuwah has always been the morning star – He is the Light-bringer.
Satan, on the other hand, bought His own Light and declared it himself to be light. The problem here is that it is a false light. It is a copy of the original. Satan transforms himself from darkness to light to fool the people. This we see in 2 Corinthians 11.
2 Corinthians 11:13-15
13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of the Messiah.
14 And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light.
15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.
The copy is going to look like the original, but what they say shall not match the Light He gives us in His word. That is there is only one true Light. One way to walk. Make sure you are not deceived. The Light we use must match the Light He gives us.
Once we have found witnesses in scripture, then and only then can we look to other witnesses, for these witnesses must match what we see in His word. Philo, who was alive at the time of Yahshua Crucification, recorded what the Israelite people as a majority were doing at this time.
Philo states in The Special Laws, II. 140-142 when speaking about the moon and how it starts the month the following:
“The new moon holds its place among the feasts for many reasons.
First, because it is the beginning of the month, and the beginning, both in number and in time, deserves honour.
Secondly, because when it arrives, nothing in heaven is left without light, for while at the conjunction, when the moon is lost to sight under the sun, the side which faces the earth is darkened, when the new month begins, it resumes its natural brightness.
The third reason is, that the stronger or more powerful element (the sun) at that time supplies the help which is needed to the smaller and the weaker (the moon)
For it is just then that the sun begins to illuminate the moon with the light which we perceive and the moon reveals its own beauty to the eye. “
Scripture shows us the Light first. Then witnesses at the time Yahshua was here match exactly what we find in scripture.
And thus the prophecy which is in Isaiah 5:20 is fulfilled.
Isaiah 5:20
Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil;
Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness;
Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
If we take the Light he gives us in His word, and place it in darkness, we are taking what is good and making it evil and taking what is sweet and making it bitter.
If it does not match, there is not truth in it.
