From the mouths of Two to Three witnesses

Scripture tells us to establish something, we need to have two to three witnesses. This comes  from the following scriptures:

2 Corinthians 13:1
1 This is the third time that I am visiting you. Every fact shall be sustained and confirmed by the testimony of two or three witnesses.

Matthew 18:16
16 But if he does not listen, take along with you one or two others, so that every word may be confirmed by the testimony of two or three witnesses.

Deuteronomy 19:15
15 “A single witness shall not appear in a trial against a man for any wrong or any sin which he has committed; [only] [on the testimony or evidence of two or three witnesses shall a charge be confirmed.

Deuteronomy 17:6
On the evidence of two or three witnesses, he who is to die shall be put to death; he shall not be put to death on the evidence of [only] one witness.

And straight from the mouth of Yahushua.

John 8:17-18
17 Even in your own law it is written that the testimony of two persons is true [valid and admissible]. 18 I am One [of the Two] who testifies about Myself, and My Father who sent Me testifies about Me.”

  1. All praises to our Heavenly Father Yahuwah Elohim and his beloved Son sitting on his right hand
in heaven. Month Abib: Firstfruits is on the 15th, first day of the week. Please note, Sabbath commences from the 6th to the 7th; from evening to evening as the Most High day starts from evening until morning! For example, from 7pm to 7pm is 24 hours. Yashusua said, Are there not twelve hours in a day. The first part is solemn rest and second part Holy Sabbath. Likewise the children of Israel ate the manna on the 15th not the 16th.

    1. Hello Daughter of Zion.

      1) Firstfruits is the 16th. Not the 15th. The 15th is the Sabbath – the seventh day of the week. The 16th is the first day of the week.

      From scripture:

      Leviticus 23
9 And Yahuwah spoke to Moses, saying, 10 “Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: ‘When you come into the land which I give to you, and reap its harvest, then you shall bring a sheaf of the first fruits of your harvest to the priest. 11 He shall wave the sheaf before the YHWH, to be accepted on your behalf; on the day after the Sabbath the priest shall wave it. (The Sabbath was upon the 15th)

This verse contains some key pieces of information. First, the day of first fruits would be the same day they go into the land which Yahuwah will give them. This day will be the day after the Sabbath. The Sabbath was the day after the sixth day of the week which was when the passover was held.

In Joshua we read of the children of Israel going into the Land promised.

      Joshua 5
10 Now the children of Israel camped in Gilgal, and kept the Passover on the fourteenth day of the month at twilight on the plains of Jericho.
11 And they ate of the produce of the land on the day after the Passover (the 15th a Sabbath – the first day of unleavened bread), unleavened bread and parched grain, on the very same day.
12 Then the manna ceased on the day after they had eaten the produce (the 16th the first day of the week) of the land; and the children of Israel no longer had manna, but they ate the fruit of the land of Canaan that year.

The 14th day is Passover. The day Yahushua was crucified.
The 15th was the Sabbath. The same day He rested.
The 16th, the day after the Sabbath was first fruits. This was the third day.

So lets look at what scriptures tell us of Yahushua:

      1 Corinthians 15:12-23

12 Now if Yahushua be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead?
13 But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Yahushua not risen:
14 And if Yahushua be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.
15 Yea, and we are found false witnesses of YHWH; because we have testified of YHWH that he raised up Yahushua: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not.
16 For if the dead rise not, then is not Yahushua raised:
17 And if Yahushua be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.
18 Then they also which are fallen asleep in Yahushua are perished.
19 If in this life only we have hope in Yahushua, we are of all men most miserable.
20 But now is Yahushua risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.
21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.
22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Yahushua shall all be made alive.
23 But every man in his own order: Yahushua the first fruits; afterward they that are Yahushua’s at his coming.

Yahushua rose upon the day known as first fruits – the 16th day of the month, the day after the Sabbath. Scripture tells us that the Sabbath (15th) was the day after Passover (14th). Preparation day (which was passover), was the day they prepared for the Sabbath.

      John 19
31 Therefore, because it was the Preparation Day (14th), that the bodies should not remain on the cross on the Sabbath (15th) (for that Sabbath was a high day), the Jews asked Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away.

      Mark 15
42 Now when evening had come, because it was the Preparation Day (14th), that is, the day before the Sabbath (15th)…

      Luke 23
56 Then they went back and prepared spices and ointments and sweet-smelling herbs (14th). And on the Sabbath they rested (15th) in accordance with the commandment.

The day after the Sabbath was the first day if the week. The first day if the week was the 16th.

      Matthew 28:1
Now after the Sabbath (15th), as the first day of the week began to dawn (16th), Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to see the tomb.

      Mark 16:2
Very early in the morning, on the first day of the week (16th), they came to the tomb when the sun had risen.

      Mark 16:9
Now when He rose early on the first day of the week (16th), He appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom He had cast seven demons.

      2) The Sabbath does not commence upon the 6th day. It starts upon the seventh day.

      Exodus 20:11
11 For in six days Yahuwah made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested –> the seventh day And they journeyed from Elim, and all the congregation of the children of Israel came to the Wilderness of Sin, which is between Elim and Sinai, on the fifteenth day of the second month after they departed from the land of Egypt.

We start on the 15th day. The complained they were hungry. And here is what the Father said:

4 Then Yahuwah said to Moses, “Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you. And the people shall go out and gather a certain quota every day, that I may test them, whether they will walk in My law or not.
5 And it shall be on the sixth day that they shall prepare what they bring in, and it shall be twice as much as they gather daily.”

And then he tells them when they shall receive meat and bread. Note. We are still on the 15th day and he says that the meat shall be in the evening and the bread in the morning.

8 And Moses said, “This shall be seen when Yahuwah gives you meat to eat in the evening, and in the morning bread to the full; for Yahuwah hears your complaints which you make against Him. And what are we? Your complaints are not against us but against Yahuwah.”

And then we see that evening – upon the 15th – that quail are provided.

13 So it was that quail came up at evening and covered the camp, and in the morning the dew lay all around the camp….

And the next morning – the 16th – a work day – the manna was provided.

… and in the morning the dew lay all around the camp. 14 And when the layer of dew lifted, there, on the surface of the wilderness, was a small round substance, as fine as frost on the ground.

      And then we read

22 And so it was, on the sixth day (21st), that they gathered twice as much bread, two omers for each one. And all the rulers of the congregation came and told Moses. 23 Then he said to them, “This is what Yahuwah has said: ‘Tomorrow is a Sabbath rest (22nd), a holy Sabbath to Yahuwah.

Six days from and including the 16th brings us to the 21st. The next day, the 22nd was the Sabbath. Count back 7 days from the 22nd and the 15th day was the Sabbath.
