The Wedding – Do you have an invitation?

In Matthew 22:1-14 we read the following parable:

Matthew 22:1-14
1 Yahushua spoke to them again in parables, saying,
2 “The kingdom (Malkuth) of heaven may be compared to a king (Malek) who gave an appointed time for a wedding for his son.
3 And he sent his servants to call those who had [previously] been invited at the appointed time for the wedding, but they refused to come.

The wedding is the marriage ceremony between Yahushua and His Bride. The people we see here are not interested in the Marriage ceremony at the appointed time. They ignore the appointed times He has set things at, are are walking after another.

His Bride are the chosen. Those who remain faithful to Him, and do not wander off after another. Those who come at the time appointed. They are blameless.  Revelation 14 describes them as:

Revelation 14:4-5
⁴ These are the ones who have not been defiled [by relations] with women, for they are celibate. These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. These have been purchased and redeemed from among men [of Israel] as the first fruits [sanctified and set apart for special service] for Yahuwah and the Lamb.
⁵ No lie was found in their mouth, for they are blameless (spotless, untainted, beyond reproach).

The book of Matthew then tells us what Yahushua says to those who were called but did not come.

…. Matthew 22:1-14
4 Then he sent out some other servants, saying, ‘Tell those who have been invited, “Look, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and fattened calves are butchered and everything is ready; come to the appointed time for the wedding.”’

But the people did not hear. They disregarded the invitation as if it was worthless. Each of those who were invited went about their own way. Doing their own thing. Working in their own business and ignored the call.

5 But they paid no attention [they disregarded the invitation, treating it with contempt] and went away, one to his farm, another to his business.

We see this today. People who have been invited are ignoring the call of Yahuwah. Instead they prefer to do what they see as right. There is a thing which is good and there is a thing which is right. They are not the same as we shall see in this article.

The the people who disregard the call, then turn upon those who are the servants of the most high, Seizing them, mistreating them, insulting them, humiliating them and killing them.

6 The rest [of the invited guests] seized his servants and mistreated them [insulting and humiliating them] and killed them.

Will this stand? Will Yahuwah allow this? Yahushua tells us in the next verse that those who were invited, but disregarded the appointed time, and laughed and scorned the people of Yahuwah are not worthy to attend His wedding. He tells us that it is these people who His soldiers shall destroy – The very people who were invited to the wedding but did not come. The ones who went off and did their own thing.

7 The king was enraged [when he heard this], and sent his soldiers and destroyed those murderers and burned their city.
8 Then he said to his servants, ‘The appointed time for the wedding is ready, but those who were invited were not worthy.

This is where we are at today. Many of the churches of men have rejected Yahushua. They have rejected the Melkizedek (The King of Righteousness).

Is their invitation still valid? We know that Paul turned around from killing the disciples of Yahuwah. So yes. The invitation is open for a period of time. Here in Matthew we learn that the time arrives when the decision is made to close the doors to the wedding to those who have rejected the invitation. The appointed time has arrived. At that time their invitation is no longer valid as they have turned upon the very ones who were providing a message of hope.

Yahuwah knows that He still has a people that are in these systems and He calls them to come out, but many will not hear.

We read this in Jeremiah 51 and also in Revelation 18.

Jeremiah 51:45
45 “Come out of her midst, My people,
And each of you [escape and] save yourself
From the fierce anger of Yahuwah.

Revelation 18:4-5
4 And I heard another voice from heaven saying, “Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues.
5 For her sins have reached to heaven, and Yahuwah has remembered her iniquities.

Yahushua then turns to His 144,000. These not associated with the churches of men. They have already come out of her. They are alone.  Yahushua tells them to go out and find all who will attend the wedding. They are looking for all who will listen to the invitation. These shall come from all walks of life. Good and bad. This is the multitude which no man can number.

9 So go to the main highways that lead out of the city, and invite to the wedding feast as many as you find.’
10 Those servants went out into the streets and gathered together all the people they could find, both bad and good; so the wedding hall was filled with dinner guests [sitting at the banquet table].

When Yahushua returns to see His guests, He looks and finds one who is not dressed in white.  Being dressed in white represents being clean. Being pure. Being a virgin and not being tainted.

The churches of today are represented by this man. A man who thinks he should be there, but Yahushua does not know him. Who is it today who thinks that they should be there, but is not washing their robes? Washing your robes is represented by listening to Yahuwah and not Man. Throwing away the things which man has taught us and accepting the things which Yahuwah has to give to us freely for in this their is life.

…. Matthew 22:1-14
11 “But when the king came in to see the dinner guests, he saw a man there who was not dressed [appropriately] in wedding clothes,
12 and he said, ‘Friend, how did you come in here without wearing the wedding clothes [that were provided for you]?’ And the man was speechless and without excuse.
13 Then the king said to the attendants, ‘Tie him hand and foot, and throw him into the darkness outside; in that place there will be weeping [over sorrow and pain] and grinding of teeth [over distress and anger].’

And here are the saint of Yahushua. The few who are chosen.

14 For many are called (invited, summoned), but few are chosen.”

Today we have the churches of men. Most do not acknowledge the appointed times of Yahuwah. Most do not acknowledge His Sabbaths, His a passover. His appointed time of unleavened bread, His appointed time of First Fruits, His appointed time of Harvest (Pentecost), His appointed time of Trumpets, His appointed time of Atonement (when all were invited but few came), His appointed time of Booths (the feast after the wedding).

Most follow a man made calendar and do not see and do not want to see His Sabbath day, as it interferes with their man made traditions. Yahuwah is put to the side that they may seek another.They want it to be a part time relationship. Seeking Yahuwah only when they want to. This is not the bride He seeks.

It reminds me of the story of Genesis where Eve, was speaking with the serpent and ate of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Interestingly she did not see the fruit as bad. She did not see the fruit as evil.

Genesis 3:6
6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was delightful to look at, and a tree to be desired in order to make one wise and insightful, she took some of its fruit and ate it; and she also gave some to her husband with her, and he ate.

You see here in is the mistake that the people of today make. They look at their churches as being good. They look at their churches as being delightful. They look at their churches as something which is desirable. And they eat of the tree.

You see Satan does not present himself as a wicked person. He twists the truth. He adds evil to good, such that it cannot be seen. Eve then said.

Genesis 3:13
13 Then Yahuwah Elohim said to the woman, “What is this that you have done?” And the woman said, “The serpent charmed me and deceived me, and I ate [from the forbidden tree].”

This is how Satan acts. This is how Satan fools those in the churches today. All he needs to do is to have the people follow him on his calendar and the people shall be none the wiser and shall walk after the beast having a form of good, but denying His power.

We read in Deuteronomy 11:16 the following:

Deuteronomy 11:16
Beware that your hearts are not deceived, and that you do not turn away [from Yahuwah] and serve other gods and worship them.

That is the people of today. They are ignoring the wedding invitation, some calling it a fraud, and they go off worshiping other gods, being deceived, thinking they are worshipping the Father, but never really knowing Him.

In Proverbs we read the following:

Proverbs 14:12
There is a way that seems [good] to a man,
But its end is the way of death

Proverbs 16:25
There is a way which seems right to a man and appears straight before him,
But its end is the way of death.

You see, the way in which most people walk, is the way of death. It is not the way the Father gave us. Both of these verses tells us that there is a way which seems good to a man, but it is the way of death.

What is good?  The peoples sense of good shapes their culture,  it forms their man made laws and it warms their hearts. If something appears good, must it also be of Yahuwah?

Have we made good and Yahuwah synonymous? Have we made good and Yahuwah interchangeable? Have we made good and Yahuwah One?

There is a way which seems right, which seems wise, which seems right, which seems acceptable, which seems beneficial, which seems profitable, that seems good. But it leads to death.

Scripture tells us that this deception shall be so strong that even the elect, the 144,000 might have also been deceived. But they are not. The 144,000 follow the commandments.

Matthew 24:24
24 For false Maschiach’s and false prophets will appear and they will provide great signs and wonders, so as to deceive, if possible, even the elect (Yahuwah’s chosen ones).

Yes. It is only the elect, the chosen, who shall not be deceived.

Time is to be shortened. The days shall no longer be the same length. The calendar of Yahuwah shall be restored. The appointed times shall align. His chosen shall follow Him.

Matthew 24:22
And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the chosen’s sake those days shall be shortened.

You see, those chosen are Priests after the order of the Melchizedek. They are called out of darkness into His marvellous light. The Priests are righteous. The Priests are Royal. This was what He wanted before. A nation of Priests.

1 Peter 2:9
But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

Yahuwah tells us what the result shall be if we turn away and worship other gods as the people do today, unknowingly.

Deuteronomy 30:15-19
15 “See, I have set before you today life and good, death and evil,
16 in that I command you today to love Yahuwah your Elohim, to walk in His ways, and to keep His commandments, His statutes, and His judgments, that you may live and multiply; and Yahuwah your Elohim will bless you in the land which you go to possess.

17 But if your heart turns away so that you do not hear, and are drawn away, and worship other gods and serve them,
18 I announce to you today that you shall surely perish; you shall not prolong your days in the land which you cross over the Jordan to go in and possess.

19 I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, thatI have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live;

We are given the following warning. And this warning strikes at the heart of the matter. It strikes at the heart by pointing us back to what Even did and how she was deceived. It tells us of the marriage. The marriage which most reject. The deception which most accept. Not a deception which is a total lie. A deception which contains truth and a lie.

2 Corinthians 11:1-3
1 Oh, that you would bear with me in a little folly—and indeed you do bear with me. 2 For I am jealous for you with an Elohim jealousy. For I have betrothed you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Yahushua.
3 But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Yahushua.

If Satan can get Eve to sin in such a perfect environment, how much easier is it for him to have fooled us today? We live in a corrupt society.

If we hope to follow Yahushua are we going to do it perfectly the first time? He tells us that He is a stone we shall stumble over and He is a rock which will offend us. If you have not stumbled, and have not been offended, shouldn’t we be asking why not?

Romans 9:33
33 As it is written and forever remains written,

“Behold I am laying in Zion a Stone of stumbling and a Rock of offense;
And he who believes in Him will not be disappointed.”

For it is the things of man which we do, which are of our own devise, and are not of Him which keep us comfortable, such that we do not offend nor stumble. Our standards have been lowered.

In Isaiah we read if woe. Woe means great sorrow or distress.

Isaiah 5:20-21
20 Woe (judgment is coming) to those who call evil good, and good evil;
Who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness;
Who substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!

21 Woe (judgment is coming) to those who are wise in their own eyes
And clever and shrewd in their own sight!

We read is Proverbs 23 who this woe is coming to. It is to the drunkards. Those who follow the beast and are drunk with the wine and cannot see! It is for the prostitute. Those who seek another lover and ignore there first love.

Proverbs 23:26-30
26  My son, give me your heart
And let your eyes delight in my ways,
27  For a prostitute is a deep pit,
And an immoral woman is a narrow well.
28  She lurks and lies in wait like a robber [who waits for prey],
And she increases the faithless among men.

29 Who has woe? Who has sorrow?
Who has strife? Who has complaining?
Who has wounds without cause?
Whose eyes are red and dim?
30  Those who linger long over wine,
Those who go to taste mixed wine.

That is the same woman we read of in Revelation 17

Revelation 17:1-2
1 Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and spoke with me, saying, “Come here, I will show you the judgment and doom of the great prostitute who is seated on many waters [influencing nations],
2 she with whom the kings of the earth have committed acts of immorality, and the inhabitants of the earth have become intoxicated with the wine of her immorality.”

Yahushua often was often seen in a boat. Today we can sit in a boat and fish. But f we do not put down an anchor, we will drift without even realising it. You see it is the scriptures are that anchor – the word which He provides us.

If we assume we have not drifted then we are mistaken, for we do not live in His word as often as we should. We drift and become accustomed to that where we are. Like the story of a frog in water and as the water is heated the frog does not realise until it is too late.

You see we need to read His word each day. But why? If we do not read His word, we drift. The temperature of the water rises and we do not notice. Let’s use a  real world example.

In chemical factories they have gas detectors. These detectors are routinely calibrated every day. To do this they are taken into a clean air environment where they are recalibrated.

This is done because of the environment where they are. The gas in the environment where they are, cause the devices to become less sensitive and as a result they do not detect the gases accurately. They become dull to the truth.

“The atmosphere in which a gas detector is being used can have an effect on the sensors. Sensors may be poisoned or suffer degraded performance if exposed to certain substances. “

Calibration is a two step procedure. In the first step the Honeywell-Biosystems instrument is taken to an area where the atmosphere is fresh and the readings are checked. If the readings differ from those expected in fresh air a “zero” adjustment must be made. The second step is to make sure the sensors are accurate by exposing them to known concentration test gas and noting the response.

Your heart is that sensor. We live in the corrupt environment. The gases are in the environment we live in today. This makes the environment corrupt.  This causes us to become drunk such that we cannot see. We look at ourselves and say “We are not drunk. We can see perfectly”, when all the time we have been drunk. We simply have not gone into the clean room to recalibrate ourselves to His word.  The word of Yahuwah is that clean room.

In Revelation 3 we can see this being spoke of again. We see some who think they are alive, but in actuality are dead.

Revelation 3:1-6
1 “To the angel (divine messenger) of the appointed ones in Sardis write:

Did you know that Sardis was a wealthy city in Roman times known for the manufacture of woollen fabric and carpets?  It was the capital of the ancient Lydian Empire and was the first city to mint coinage. It was conquered twice due to lack of adequate watchfulness.

… Revelation 3:1-6
“These are the words of Him who has the seven Spirits of Elohim and the seven stars: ‘I know your deeds; you have a name (reputation) that you are alive, but [in reality] you are dead.
2 Wake up, and strengthen and reaffirm what remains, which is about to die; for I have not found [any of] your deeds completed in the sight of My Elohim or meeting His requirements.

We should be asking why this is…. We read in Psalms 119 of being woken up. We read of the requirements. We read again how it is keeping his commandments.

Psalms 119:60-63
60  I hurried and did not delay
To keep Your commandments.
61  The cords of the wicked have encircled and ensnared me,
But I have not forgotten Your law.
62  At midnight I will wake up to give thanks to You
Because of Your righteous ordinances.
63  I am a companion of all who [reverently] fear You,
And of those who keep and honour Your precepts.

Those asleep are not keeping them.

… Revelation 3:1-6
3 So remember and take to heart the lessons you have received and heard. Keep and obey them, and repent.

What was it He told us to keep and obey?

John 14:15,21
15 “If you love Me, you will keep and obey My commandments.
21 The person who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me; and whoever loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and reveal Myself to him.”

If we are not keeping His commandments do we really love Him?

John 14:24
24 One who does not love Me does not keep My commandments. And the commandments which you hear are not Mine, but is the Father’s who sent Me.

He tells us to wake up. He tells us we have been asleep. He tells us He shall come at an hour these people do not know. They know not because they do not know His appointed times.

So then, if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what hour I will come to you.

But He has some people who have not soiled there clothes. They are not sinning. These are the ones who are dressed in white because they are righteous. They have washed their clothes.

… Revelation 3:1-6
4 But you [still] have a few people in Sardis who have not soiled their clothes; and they will walk with Me [dressed] in white, because they are worthy (righteous).
5 He who overcomes will accordingly be dressed in white clothing; and I will never blot out his name from the Book of Life, and I will confess and openly acknowledge his name before My Father and before His angels.
6 He who has an ear, let him hear and heed what the Spirit says to the appointed ones.’

The one who have washed there clothes do something different.

Revelation 12:12
12 Here is [encouragement for] the steadfast endurance of the saints, those who habitually keep Yahuwah’s commandments and their faith in Yahushua.

Yahushua is coming back to a bride who gives themselves to Him totally. Are you ready? Are you on mans path or His?
