Who is Yahuwah and Yahshua?

The topic arises every so often that Yahuwah in the spirit is Yahshua in the flesh. I thought perhaps I might add some scriptures below so we can see where this understanding comes from.

Let us start by looking at what we find in Exodus 3.

Exodus 3:13-14

13 Then Moses said to Elohim, “Indeed, when I come to the children of Israel and say to them, ‘The Elohim of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they say to me, ‘What is His name?’ what shall I say to them?”

Elohim said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.” He said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.’”

The phrase “I AM” in Hebrew is “Yah.” Yahuwah means “I AM He Who Exists.”

In John 8, we see Yahshua speaking and being questioned. At the very end, He tells them who He is.

John 8:58

Yahshua said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.”

How can Yahshua live before Abraham and after Abraham if Yahshua was born on earth? The only way is if Yahshua is “I AM.” Yahshua is Yahuwah in the spirit.

In Psalms 110:1 and 5, we see that Yahuwah says to His Son to sit at His right hand. When we read verse 5, we read that Yahuwah is at the right hand. This can only be possible if Yahuwah is Yahshua—one physical, one spiritual.

Psalms 110

1 Yahuwah says to my Mashiach (the Messiah, His Son), “Sit at My right hand…”

5 Yahuwah is at Your right hand; He will crush kings in the day of His wrath.

In Isaiah 7:14, we read that the Son’s name is to be ImmanuEl, which means “Elohim is with us.”

Isaiah 7:14

So Yahuwah Himself will give you a sign: Behold! The virgin will conceive and will bring forth a son; and she shall call His name ImmanuEl (‘Elohim with us’).

In Isaiah 54:5, we read how Yahuwah is the Elohim (plural) of all the earth:

Isaiah 54:5

For your Maker is your husband; Yahuwah of Hosts is His name; and your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel; He is called the Elohim (plural) of all the earth.

We read in John 1 how the Word—the physical manifestation we see—was Yahshua, and the Word was Yahuwah in spiritual form.

John 1:1-3, 14

1 In the beginning [before all time] was the Word (Yahshua), and the Word was with Yahuwah, and the Word was Yahuwah Himself.

2 He was [continually existing] in the beginning [co-eternally] with Yahuwah.

3 All things were made and came into existence through Him; and without Him not even one thing was made that has come into being.

14 And the Word became flesh, and lived among us; and we [actually] saw His glory, glory as belongs to the [One and] only begotten Son of the Father, [the Son who is truly unique, the only One of His kind, who is] full of grace and truth (absolutely free of deception).

Yahshua tells us in John 14 that He is the Father.

John 14:9-11

9 Yahshua said to him, “Have I been with you for so long a time, and you do not know Me yet, Philip, nor recognize clearly who I am? Anyone who has seen Me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father?’

10 Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father is in Me? The words I say to you I do not say on My own initiative or authority, but the Father, abiding continually in Me, does His works [His attesting miracles and acts of power].

11 Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me; otherwise believe [Me] because of the [very] works themselves [which you have witnessed].

Revelation tells us that Yahshua is the Word of Yahuwah. The Word is Yahuwah. There is no one higher than the King of Kings.

Revelation 19:11-14

11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and He who was riding it is called Faithful and True (trustworthy, loyal, incorruptible, steady), and in righteousness He judges and wages war [on the rebellious nations].

12 His eyes are a flame of fire, and on His head are many royal crowns; and He has a name inscribed [on Him] which no one knows or understands except Himself.

13 He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of Yahuwah.

14 And the armies of heaven, dressed in fine linen, [dazzling] white and clean, followed Him on white horses.

15 From His mouth comes a sharp sword (His word) with which He may strike down the nations, and He will rule them with a rod of iron; and He will tread the winepress of the fierce wrath of Yahuwah, the Almighty [in judgment of the rebellious world].

16 And on His robe and on His thigh He has a name inscribed, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

After Yahshua rose, He came to Thomas (doubting Thomas), so that Thomas could see that He had indeed risen. Thomas says:

John 20:28

Thomas answered Him, “My Lord and my Elohim!”

Yahshua did not correct Thomas because he spoke correctly; Yahshua was his Lord and his Elohim. Yahshua Himself tells us that He and the Father are one—not two.

John 10:30

I and the Father are one.

We see in Matthew 2:2 the Magi coming before Yahshua and saying:

Matthew 2:2

Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the east and have come to worship Him.

Yahshua was a King, a king who could redeem. In Ephesians 1:7, it is written:

Ephesians 1:7

In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness and complete pardon of our sin, in accordance with the riches of His grace.

There are two points here: Matthew 2 tells us that they came to worship Him. Only Yahuwah is to be worshiped; therefore, Yahshua is Yahuwah, the promised one.

Luke 4:8

And Yahshua answered and said to him, “Get behind Me, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship Yahuwah your Elohim, and Him only you shall serve.’”

None can redeem us from sin except the Father, yet the Son came to redeem us. The Son is the Father, as seen in Psalms 130, written long before Yahshua was born.

Psalm 130:7-8

O Israel, hope in Yahuwah; For with Yahuwah there is lovingkindness, And with Him is abundant redemption.

And He will redeem Israel From all his sins.

Yahuwah redeemed all Israel, yet scripture tells us Yahshua did this, showing they are one and the same. Yahshua is our Husband. His name is Yahuwah of Hosts. He is the holy one of YisraEl—Yahshua, the Elohim of the whole earth.

Isaiah 54:5

For your Maker is your Husband – Yahuwah of hosts is His name. The kodesh One of YisraEl. Your Redeemer. The Elohim of the whole earth He is called.

Scripture tells us when Moses came before Yahuwah and asked who he should say sent the message:

Exodus 3:14-15

Yahuwah said to Moses, “I Am Who I Am”; and He said, “You shall say this to the children of Israel, ‘I Am has sent me to you.’”

And Elohim said moreover unto Moses, “Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, Yahuwah Elohim of your fathers, the Elohim of Abraham, the Elohim of Isaac, and the Elohim of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations.

The phrase “I AM” comes from “Yah.” Yahshua means “I AM salvation.” This is affirmed in multiple scriptures, including Matthew and John.

  1. Good evening I’m very puzzled if you say Yahuwha and Yahusuwha is the same person because God(Elohim) spoke to Jesus(Yahushuwa) in Genesis 1v26 and said And God said, Let us make man in our image! So don’t confuse the father from the son as they are not one but two the father and the son was there from the beginning , you should get a Hebrew Bible to translate the correct wording in the Bible just like you confused with Lord and LORD this is two people in the Hebrew Bible and if you translate it to English Lord means master and LORD means Elohim so don’t confuse your self by saying things that’s not true read and understand your Bible brother and as Elohim for more wisdom so he can teach you more about his wonderful word!🙏🏽

    1. You should consider what is written in the old testament before you come to this conclusion. It may appear confusing, but it is not.

      John 8:58
58 Yahshua said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.”

That is. Before Abraham was, Yahushua was and is Yah. Yah means I AM. Yahushua means I AM your Saviour.

      Isaiah 7:14
So, Yahuwah Himself will give you a sign: Behold! The virgin will conceive and will bring forth a son; and she shall call His name ImmanuEl’ (‘Elohim with us’).

Who is Elohim? Yah. And Yah is our Saviour. That is Yahushua.

Might take you a while to see this but the aFather and the son are one, not two.

  2. How can I find a church group that uses the names YaHuWaH (Father) and Yahushua? (Son) I live in Australia. I believe the father’s name is most likely to be Yahuwah because his name is derived from the Tetragrammaton which are the 4 consonants YHWH. The 3 vowels are added in between the 4 consonants in order to form the name which is the way it was done back in ancient Hebrew times.

    1. Thank you for reaching out! I’m glad to help explore these scriptures in the context of understanding Yahuwah and Yahshua as one.

      1. Acts 2:7
This verse reads, “And they were all amazed and marveled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galileans?”
This passage highlights the astonishment of the crowd when they heard the apostles speaking in different languages. It underscores the power and authority of the Holy Spirit, which is the same Spirit of Yahuwah present in Yahshua, enabling divine works through His followers. The apostles, empowered by the same Spirit that dwelled in Yahshua, serve as witnesses to His unity with the Father.

      2. Acts 3:1-2
“Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour. And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple.”
In this passage, Peter and John encounter a man who was lame from birth. Through Yahshua, they perform a healing, demonstrating that the authority Yahshua held is now within His followers through the same Spirit. Yahshua said in John 14:12 that those who believe in Him would do the same works He did. This continuity shows Yahuwah’s Spirit working through Yahshua and extending through His disciples, demonstrating their shared identity and power.

      3. Acts 15:29
This verse says, “That ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication: from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well.”
Here, we see the early believers upholding instructions for righteous living, which reflect Yahuwah’s commandments and holiness. Just as Yahshua lived in obedience to Yahuwah’s laws, His followers are called to do the same. This adherence to Yahuwah’s commands further reflects Yahshua’s role as the embodiment of Yahuwah’s word and teachings, as He is Yahuwah’s presence in the flesh.

Each of these passages reflects the authority and unity of Yahuwah and Yahshua, showing how Yahuwah’s Spirit was in Yahshua and continues to work through His followers. I hope this helps clarify! Let me know if you’d like more information.

      Shalom!

  4. Shalom brother. The verse where Yahshua said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.” How can Yahshua live before Abraham and after Abraham if Yahshua was born on earth? The only way is if Yahshua is “I AM.” Yahshua is Yahuwah in the spirit.

The Trinitarian doctrine brings this into them mix, which is a deliberate misinterpretation on behalf of religion and christianity, which is Babylonian in origin.

What Yahshua meant here, is that Father Yahuah was ‘I AM’ before father Abraham was born, before father Adam was created. He is not claiming that he is Yahuah, but is ‘in’ Yahuah as His Begotten Son and in being the Lamb of Yahuah, which means ‘adopted’ son, who is the Son of Man born from a woman and man and not a virgin. Yahuah our Eternal King, is the Creator Yahuah and Yahuah only! Yahshua is His son, subservient to his Father Yahuah, doing His will. Keep in mind, if Father Yahuah punished the Fallen Watchers for cavorting with woman during the days of Jared to Noah, why would He go against His own laws and judgements, and Himself impregnate a virgin woman called Mariam? Then how would Father Yahuah’s Integrity and Set apart nature stand in our eyes if He did such a thing? Wouldn’t He be contradicting Himself? Father Yahuah never contradicts Himself. Keep in mind, the storyline of the Patriarchs as well as the life of Yahshua has been tampered with and corrupted in the bibles for followers of religion to accept the Babylonian Trinity Doctrine and false doctrine by way of preaching implied doctrine, or preacher self-interpretation by way of using chapter and verse soundbites to create implied doctrine. This is the religious way, which is not of Yahuah. This is how they reel in the follower, sell the product, reel in the souls which undoubtedly become corrupted in some way or the other through the religious spirits of error operating inside of the church outift, while they fleece them for money. We all know the story. Stay blessed.

    1. Thank you for sharing your thoughts, Hondo. You raise some important questions and interpretations about the relationship between Yahshua and Yahuwah. However, I’d like to clarify a few points in light of scripture, as I believe they affirm the divine identity of Yahshua as Yahuwah in the flesh.

      Yahshua’s Name and Identity
The very name “Yahshua” means “Yahuwah is salvation.” This encapsulates His identity as the Father manifesting Himself to fulfill the role of the Redeemer. Isaiah 43:11 states, “I, even I, am Yahuwah, and beside Me, there is no savior.” If Yahuwah is the only Savior, then Yahshua, whose name means salvation, is not separate but the visible expression of Yahuwah.

      Scriptural Harmony
Scripture consistently points to the unity of Yahshua and Yahuwah:

Exodus 3:14: Yahuwah reveals Himself as “I AM,” a name Yahshua claims in John 8:58, demonstrating His preexistence and divine nature.
Isaiah 9:6: Prophesies the Messiah as “Mighty God” and “Everlasting Father,” titles that affirm Yahshua’s divine identity.
John 14:9-11: Yahshua explicitly states, “He who has seen Me has seen the Father,” underscoring their inseparable nature.
      The Virgin Birth
Regarding the virgin birth, it fulfills prophecy in Isaiah 7:14 and demonstrates Yahuwah’s power to bring forth a sinless redeemer. Far from contradicting His laws or nature, it highlights His holiness and purpose to redeem humanity uniquely.

      Old and New Testament Agreement
The Old Testament testifies of Yahuwah’s role as Redeemer (Isaiah 54:5, Psalm 130:7-8), while the New Testament reveals Yahshua fulfilling that role (Ephesians 1:7). Together, they form two witnesses that affirm Yahshua as Yahuwah incarnate.

      My Personal Perspective

I firmly believe that Yahshua is Yahuwah in the flesh, as His name and mission testify. He bridges the gap between humanity and the divine, fulfilling the prophecies and promises of scripture. Yahuwah declared He alone is Saviour, and Yahshua embodied that salvation.

Let us continue to seek understanding and truth in the scriptures, always aligning our interpretations with the whole counsel of God’s Word.

      Shalom and blessings.
