Who is Yahuwah and Yahshua?

The topic arises every so often that Yahuwah in the spirit is Yahshua in the flesh. I thought perhaps I might add some scriptures below so we can see where this understanding comes from.

Let us start by looking at what we find in Exodus 3.

Exodus 3:13-14
13 Then Moses said to Elohim
“Indeed, when I come to the children of Israel and say to them, ‘The Elohim of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they say to me, ‘What is His name?’ what shall I say to them?”

Elohim said to Moses,
“I AM WHO I AM.”
He said,
“Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.’

I AM in Hebrew is Yah. Yahuwah in English means I AM He who Exists.

In John 8 we see Yahshua speaking and being questioned. At the very end He tells them who He is.

John 8:58
58 Yahshua said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.”

How can Yahshua live before Abraham and after Abraham if Yahshua was born on earth? The only way is if Yahshua is I AM. Yahshua is Yahuwah in the spirit.

In Psalms 110:1,5 we see that Yahuwah says to His son to sit at His right hand. When we read verse 5 we read that Yahuwah is at the right hand. This can only be possible if Yahuwah is Yahshua. One physical. One Spiritual.

Psalms 110
1 Yahuwah says to my Mashiach (the Messiah, His Son),“Sit at My right hand.

5 Yahuwah is at Your right hand, He will crush kings in the day of His wrath.

In Isaiah 7:14 we read that the sons name is to be ImmanuEl – which means Elohim is with us.

Isaiah 7:14
So, Yahuwah Himself will give you a sign: Behold! The virgin will conceive and will bring forth a son; and she shall call His name ImmanuEl’ (‘Elohim with us’).

In Isaiah 54:5 we read how Yahuwah is Elohim (Plural) of all the earth:

Isaiah 54:5
For your Maker is your husband;
Yahuwah of Hosts is His name;
and your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel;
He is called the Elohim (Plural) of all the earth.

We read in John 1 how the word – the physical thing we see – was Yahshua and the Word was Yahuwah in spiritual form.

John 1:1-3, 14
1 In the beginning [before all time] was the Word (Yahshua), and the Word was with Yahuwah, and the Word was Yahuwah Himself.
2 He was [continually existing] in the beginning [co-eternally] with Yahuwah.
3 All things were made and came into existence through Him; and without Him not even one thing was made that has come into being.

14 And the Word became flesh, and lived among us; and we [actually] saw His glory, glory as belongs to the [One and] only begotten Son of the Father, [the Son who is truly unique, the only One of His kind, who is] full of grace and truth (absolutely free of deception).

Yahshua tells us in John 14 that He is the Father.

John 14:9-11
9 Yahshua said to him, “Have I been with you for so long a time, and you do not know Me yet, Philip, nor recognise clearly who I am? Anyone who has seen Me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father?’
10 Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father is in Me? The words I say to you I do not say on My own initiative or authority, but the Father, abiding continually in Me, does His works [His attesting miracles and acts of power].
11 Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me; otherwise believe [Me] because of the [very] works themselves [which you have witnessed].

Revelation tells us that Yahshua is the word of Yahuwah. The Word is Yahuwah. There is no one higher than the King of the Kings.

Revelation 19:11-14
11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and He who was riding it is called Faithful and True (trustworthy, loyal, incorruptible, steady), and in –> righteousness <– He judges and wages war [on the rebellious nations]. 12 His eyes are a flame of fire, and on His head are many royal crowns; and He has a name inscribed [on Him] which no one knows or understands except Himself. 13 He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called –>The Word of Yahuwah <— 14 And the armies of heaven, dressed in fine linen, [dazzling] white and clean, followed Him on white horses. 15 From His mouth comes a sharp sword (His word) with which He may strike down the nations, and He will [g]rule them with a rod of iron; and He will tread the wine press of the fierce wrath of Yahuwah, the Almighty [in judgment of the rebellious world]. 16 And on His robe and on His thigh He has a name inscribed, –> “KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.” <–

Melek – King
Tzadik – Righteousness.

After Yahshua rose He came to Thomas (doubting Thomas), so that Thomas could see that He had indeed risen. Thomas says:

John 20:28
28 Thomas answered Him, “My Lord and my Elohim!”

There was no correction for Thomas by Yahshua for he had spoken correctly. Yahshua was his Lord and was His Elohim. Yahshua Himself tells us the He and the Father are one. Not two.

John 10:30
30 I and the Father are one.

We see in Matthew 2:2 the Maggi coming before Yahshua and saying:

Matthew 2:2
2 Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the east and have come to worship Him.

Yahshua was a King. He was a king who could redeem. In Ephesians 1:7 we see it written:

Ephesians 1:7
7 In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness and complete pardon of our sin, in accordance with the riches of His grace.

There are two points here: Matthew 2 tells us that they come before Him to worship Him. None are to be worshiped except Yahuwah. Yahshua is Yahuwah. The promised one.

Luke 4:8
8 And Yahshua answered and said to him, “Get behind Me, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship Yahuwah your Elohim, and Him only you shall serve.’ ”

None can redeem us from sin except the Father. The son came to redeem us though. The son is the Father. This is found in Psalms 130 (before Yahshua was born):

Psalm 130:7-8
7 O Israel, hope in the Yahuwah;
For with Yahuwah there is lovingkindness,
And with Him is abundant redemption.
And He will redeem Israel
From all his sins.

Yahuwah Redeemed all Israel. But scripture tells us that it was Yahshua who redeemed all Israel. Thus is only possible when they are one and the same.  Yahshua is our Husband. His name is Yahuwah of Hosts. He is the holy one of YisraEl – Yahshua. The Elohim of the whole earth.

Isaiah 54:5
“For your Maker is your Husband – Yahuwah of hosts is His name. The kodesh One of YisraEl. Your Redeemer. The Elohim of the whole earth He is called.”

Scripture tells us of when Moses came before Yahuwah and Moses asked Him who he should say sent the message to them.

Exodus 3:14-15
14 Yahuwah said to Moses, “I Am Who I Am”; and He said, “You shall say this to the children of Israel, ‘I Am has sent me to you.’”
15 And Elohim said moreover unto Moses, “Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, Yahuwah Elohim of your fathers, the Elohim of Abraham, the Elohim of Isaac, and the Elohim of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations.

The phrase we see as I AM comes from the word Yah. It means I AM. Yahshua means I AM salvation. The following scriptures confirm this.

Matthew 14:27
27 But straightway Yahshua spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; for I AM. Be not afraid.

Matthew 18:20
20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I AM in the midst of them.

Matthew 20:15
15 Is it not lawful for me to do what I will with mine own? Is thine eye evil, because I AM good?

Matthew 22:32
32 I AM the Elohim of Abraham, and the Elohim of Isaac, and the Elohim of Jacob. Elohim is not the Elohim of the dead, but of the living.

Matthew 28:20
20 Teach them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo,  I AM with you alway,even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Luke 22:70
70 Then said they all, Art thou then the Son of Elohim? And he said unto them, Ye say that I AM.

John 6:35,41,48,51
35 Yahshua replied to them, “[I AM the Bread of Life.
41 … ” I AM the Bread that came down out of heaven.”
48 I AM the Bread of Life
51 I AM the Living Bread that came down out of heaven.

John 8:12
12 I AM the Light of the world.

John 8:17
18 I AM one that bear witness of myself, and the Father that sent me beareth witness of me.
19 Then said they unto him, Where is thy Father? Yahshua answered, Ye neither know me, nor my Father: if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also.

John 10:7,9, 11, 14
7 I AM the Door for the sheep…
9 I AM the Door…
11 I AM the Good Shepherd….
14 I AM the Good Shepherd…

John 11:25
25 Yahshua said to her, “I AM the Resurrection and the Life.”

John 15:1
1 I AM the true Vine

John 14:6
6 Yahshua said to him, “I AM the Way  and the Truth and the Life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.

1 Timothy 2:5
5 For there is one Elohim, and one mediator between Elohim and men, the man Yahshua haMaschiach;

James 2:19
You believe that Elohim is one. You do well. The demons also believe and shudder.

We cannot go to the Father except through Him as He is the Father. I AM. In Isaiah 12:2 we read:

Isaiah 12:2
2 Behold, Yah is my salvation,
I will trust and not be afraid;
‘For Yah, the Maschiach, is my strength and song;
He also has become my salvation.’”

Yahshua literally means I AM (Yah) Salvation (Shua).  We see Yahuwah being called our salvation again in Psalms 27.

Psalms 27:1
1 Yah is my light and my salvation;
Whom shall I fear?
Yah is the strength of my life;
Of whom shall I be afraid?

In John8:24 we see Yahshua saying He is the I AM.

John 8:24
24 That is why I told you that you will die in your sins; for if you do not believe that I AM, you will die in your sins.”

And He confirms it again by what He says in John 8:28

John 8:28
28 So Yahshua said, “When you lift up the Son of Man [on the cross], you will know then that I AM, and that I do nothing on My own authority, but I say these things just as My Father taught Me.

We see in His word that when He proclaimed to be the same as the Father people wanted to stone Him.

John 10:30-38
30 I and My Father are one.”

31 Then the Jews took up stones again to stone Him.
32 Yahshua answered them, “Many good works I have shown you from My Father. For which of those works do you stone Me?”

33 The Jews answered Him, saying, “For a good work we do not stone You, but for blasphemy, and because You, being a Man, make Yourself Elohim.”

34 Yahshua answered them, “Is it not written in your law, ‘I said, “You are elohim”’?
35 If He called them elohim, to whom the word of  Elohim came,
36 do you say of Him whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world, ‘You are blaspheming,’ because I said, ‘I am the Son of Elohim’?
37 If I do not do the works of My Father, do not believe Me; 38 but if I do, though you do not believe Me, believe the works, that you may know and believe that the Father is in Me, and I in Him.”

The Father, the Son, and the Ruach haKodesh are one.

1 John 5:7
7 For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one.

 Again we read in the old covenant

Isaiah 43:11
“I, even I am Yahuwah,
And there is no Saviour besides Me”

An in the new covenant

Luke 2:10-11
10 Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people.
11 For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Saviour, who is the Maschiach.

Yahshua quite literally means (Yah) I AM – (Shua) – Saviour. Yahuwah the Saviour in the spirit is Yahshua the Saviour in the flesh.

Sometimes we need something physical to understand the spiritual. Yahshua laid His scriptures out this way for us to understand, giving physical examples that we my understand the spiritual in the same sense.

Here is how I understand 3 in 1. The Son is like the water. The Father is the ice. The spirit is like the steam. All are one item, just different forms of the same thing.

1 Timothy 3:15a -16

15a The assembly of the Living Elohim. The pillar and the foundation of truth 16 and truly great, is the mystery of righteousness, which was revealed in the flesh and righteousness in the spirit, and seen by messengers, and proclaimed among the nations, and believed on in the world, and received up into glory.

We read in Revelation 22:16 one of the final words on the matter.

Revelation 22:16
16 “I, Yahshua (I AM Saves), have sent My angel to testify to you and to give you assurance of these things for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the radiant and bright Morning Star.”

  1. Good evening I’m very puzzled if you say Yahuwha and Yahusuwha is the same person because God(Elohim) spoke to Jesus(Yahushuwa) in Genesis 1v26 and said And God said, Let us make man in our image! So don’t confuse the father from the son as they are not one but two the father and the son was there from the beginning , you should get a Hebrew Bible to translate the correct wording in the Bible just like you confused with Lord and LORD this is two people in the Hebrew Bible and if you translate it to English Lord means master and LORD means Elohim so don’t confuse your self by saying things that’s not true read and understand your Bible brother and as Elohim for more wisdom so he can teach you more about his wonderful word!🙏🏽

    1. You should consider what is written in the old testament before you come to this conclusion. It may appear confusing, but it is not.

      John 8:58
      58 Yahshua said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.”

      That is. Before Abraham was, Yahushua was and is Yah. Yah means I AM. Yahushua means I AM your Saviour.

      Isaiah 7:14
      So, Yahuwah Himself will give you a sign: Behold! The virgin will conceive and will bring forth a son; and she shall call His name ImmanuEl’ (‘Elohim with us’).

      Who is Elohim? Yah. And Yah is our Saviour. That is Yahushua.

      Might take you a while to see this but the aFather and the son are one, not two.

  2. How can I find a church group that uses the names YaHuWaH (Father) and Yahushua? (Son) I live in Australia. I believe the father’s name is most likely to be Yahuwah because his name is derived from the Tetragrammaton which are the 4 consonants YHWH. The 3 vowels are added in between the 4 consonants in order to form the name which is the way it was done back in ancient Hebrew times.
